PARADISE: Family/Inspirational Feature-Length Film

They are sent from a big city church to the small town of Paradise, where Debbie finds a community in desperate need of direction and a town that turns its back on its neediest neighbors.
As the church begins to embrace Debbie's methods, the congregation begins to find their own sense of inspiration, tolerance and consideration. Something happens that might cause the church's charter to be revoked.

HIDING IN WALLS Award Winning Short
“Hiding in Walls” is an exciting and hilarious look at the life two
Hollywood screenwriters. Bob and Rob are seasoned
writing partners called up for a fifteen minute pitch in front
of a studio bigwig. The only problem? They’ve got
nothing to pitch.
The team, unwilling to pass up the opportunity, does what any good
Hollywood-type would do, they make something up.
Surprisingly, the impromptu pitch is a unanimous favorite, and
the duo is hired to write the script. Unfortunately, for
the now working Bob and Rob, they have no idea what they just
pitched.
As the team battles with writer’s block, they’re forced to turn
to the gritty Los Angeles ghettos for a little street-bought
inspiration. Christopher Moynihan (“Coupling”),
Johnny Sneed (“First Daughter”), Jane Lynch (“A
Mighty Wind”) and Danny Trejo (“Anchorman”) star in
this tale of misadventures that proves: anyone can succeed in
Hollywood with some street smarts and just a little bit of
luck.
Hiding in Walls won Best Comedy Short at the 2003 HD festival. It also received Honorable Mention at the Denver Arts Festival.
